Our extra virgin olive oil branded "Zaitum" carries the "Montes de Toledo" Denomination of Origin, an assurance of its excellent quality. This oil has a highly distinctive flavour to the Castilla La Mancha region and a fruity aroma. For this it has won gold medals in 1994 and 1999, and silver in 1995, from the annual awards given by the Agriculture, Fishing and Food Council of the "Junta de Comunidades de Castilla La Mancha". In addition one of our brands, Zaitum, has been ranked sixth among the 24 best Spanish extra virgin olive oils by the renowned national publication "Sobremesa" in its May 2000 issue!
